Text: I don't know if I am descended from them. My grandmother was a Page. I have been trying to pu t some of the Page's from Washington County, Georgia with their families.
I decend from John Page and Olive Smith Page of Washington, County, Georgia. They were born a bout 1806, probably in North Carolina.
Their son John Allen Page married Juda Walker.
John was killed in Petersberg, Virginia in 1864.
John and Juda's son Nathan Franklin married Mamie Carey.
Nathan and Mamie's daughter, Annie Maude Page was my Grandmother.
While searching for John and Olive's parents I found some court records where a Burton H Pitt s was made guardian of Martha Ruth and Elizabeth Page.
In the will of Lunsford Pitts, Burton H. Pitts children were named, Lunsford Pitts, George Ga ines Pitts and his daughter Rebecca Pitts.

31 March 1813 Issue (GJN) -- John Page, deceased, household goods & livestock to be sold. (La urens County) Burton H. Pitts, Guardian.
Montgomery County State Of Georgia Court Of Ordinary Court Minuted Transcribed 1809 - 1862 Es tate of Page Heirs Burton Pitts guardian of Martha Ruth and Elizabeth came into court and mad e a settlement with the court of 1810, 1811, 1812 - Balance due him of guardian 4 - 27.
Lunsford C Pitts, who was Burton H Pitts brother, married Ruth Page 20 Feb. 1818 in Laurens C ounty, Georgia. (Georgia Marriages 1801-1825)
I haven't found anymore about this John Page. Martha Ruth may have been Martha and Ruth. Bu t in the microfilm I did not see a comma between the two names.
Because Elijah Dean married a Martha and Lunsford C Pitts married a Ruth I think it probabl y was Martha and Ruth.
I have lots of information about the Washinton County Page families. You are welcome to anyth ing I have.
Thanks for the reply

I live in __ GA. ___ and will send to you any information you want about the Page families o f Washinton County, Ga.
There are at least two families, one starting with Thomas Page born in 1711 in Bertie County , North Carolina. All I have on him was found at the Sandersville Historical Society Center . It was in the form of a letter from a lady named Tharp in Cuthbert, Ga. There was very litt le information other than her handwritten lineage. Starting with Thomas Page down to her.
Following is some that I found.
Descendants of Henry Page, of Middlesex England, who was born in 1500, immigrated to Virgini a in 1650 and were founders of the Page Family in Virginia. This clan furnished members of th e Federal Congress, American Revolutionary Patriots, and a Governor of the State of Virgini a in 1802.
